1. Data controller

2. What data is processed and why

If you write or call me (email, phone or LinkedIn): your name, contact details and whatever you include in your message. It is used only to reply and, where relevant, to handle the professional collaboration or hiring process you propose.

When browsing: like any web server, the hosting provider technically logs the IP address, date and time, requested page and browser (access logs). They are used only to serve the site, keep it secure and detect abuse. They are not used for profiling or to identify you.

No data is collected through forms, there are no user accounts, and no automated decisions or profiling take place.

3. Legal basis

Contact: your consent when you write (art. 6.1.a GDPR) and, where the contact concerns a possible collaboration or hiring, steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR).

Access logs: the legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and running (art. 6.1.f GDPR).

4. Retention

Messages are kept as long as needed to handle your enquiry or the professional relationship and, afterwards, only for the statutory limitation periods. You can request deletion at any time.

Access logs are kept for the limited period set by Spaceship, Inc. for security reasons and then deleted.

5. Recipients and international transfers

Your data is not shared with or sold to third parties, except where required by law. The following have access to it as processors, solely to provide their service: Spaceship, Inc., the site’s web hosting provider, and Google (Gmail email service).

Spaceship, Inc. is based in the United States and processes access logs under its Data Processing Addendum (art. 28 GDPR); any resulting international transfers rely on the safeguards set out in that agreement under art. 46 GDPR.

Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, so any transfers to the United States involved in email are covered by the European Commission adequacy decision of 10 July 2023.

6. Your rights

You may at any time exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, and withdraw your consent, by writing to yohangelr@gmail.com stating the right you wish to exercise. You will get a reply within one month.

If you believe the processing does not comply with the law, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD), C/ Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid, Spain — www.aepd.es — or with the supervisory authority of your country of residence.

7. Minors

The site is not aimed at children under 14. If you are under that age, do not send personal data without your parents’ or guardians’ consent (art. 7 LOPDGDD).

8. Security

The site is always served over HTTPS with security headers. Reasonable technical and organisational measures are taken to protect data against loss, alteration or unauthorised access.

9. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect legal or site changes. The current version is always the one published on this page, with its update date.
